The purpose-built factory premises of AKH are self-sufficient with all of the necessary utilities like a water treatment plant to clean the water it intakes for use in the dying plant, captive gas-burn power plants to guarantee uninterrupted power supply for 24 hours a day to all of the operations in its different campuses, and an 85-cubic-meter-an-hour capacity effluent treatment plant of most contemporary technology to dehydrate sludge and chemically as well as biologically cleanse the industrial effluents of its dying unit.
